the first step? |

a Video Memoir, the first step is for us to meet with you and
provide questions that will evoke the stories, personalities,
and feelings you want to recount in your memoir. We help you
create a custom, personalized script to guide you through the
process of videotaping an interview that will form the basis
of your video memoir. In addition to the interview process, we
will help you select the photos, poetry, artwork, and mementos
of all kinds to make your story entertaining and engaging for
your family and loved ones. You can include home movies and videotape,
documents, diplomas, awards, whatever illustrates the story you
wish to tell. Combining interviews, home movies, photographs
and heirlooms, we will weave your family story into a personal
documentary, complete with music and titles. We help you organize
your story from the earliest stages to the finished program. |
| Videotaping
is done on state-of-the-art digital equipment and in the comfort
of your home, office or other place that allows for a relaxed
interview. |
| We
provide a guide with an extensive list of potential interview
questions that will help trigger your memory and thus help you
prepare your story. You will go through the questions and select
those that will best help you tell your story. |
| For
a Celebration Video, we need to discuss with you in detail the
manner in which you want the special event to be covered. |
| How
long does it take? |
| An
estimated number of weeks will be given for each project. This
includes preparation, videotaping, editing, preview, and revisions. |

does it cost? |
| Each
project is custom designed, so the costs vary depending on the
services and time involved. We try to work as efficiently as

| Equipment |
We
use digital video cameras to record interviews and other footage,
which is then edited on a computer. This provides several advantages:
1. All digital, multiple copies show no loss in quality
2. Digital editing that preserves the origional tape unchanged.
3. The ability to make adjustments until your video memoir is
perfect! |
